KKK Recruits In Texas Panhandle

It looks like the Ku Klux Klan is still alive here in the Texas Panhandle. In the last few days they have been distributing leaflets in Pampa, Texas. Of course, they aren't passing out the leaflets in public like any normal organization. That would require they expose themselves to public ridicule. Instead, they are stuffing their leaflet into a plastic bag with a few stones and throwing it out on lawns in the dead of night.

This is the Amarillo branch of the White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. Evidently, they think Pampa is a good place to recruit anonymously. Pampa is a city of about 18,000 that's about 50 miles east of Amarillo in Gray County. The population there is about 83% white. I suspect, however, that the good folks of Pampa would probably prefer the Klan just stay out of their fair city.

These days the Klan is trying to pass itself off as a kinder gentler version. Thhe leader of the national group says they are the "traditional" Klan. He says they don't accept skinheads or fascists. He would like people to believe they are just another "charitable fraternal" group.

If any of you believe that, then you'll probably also believe there's a nice man in Nigeria who wants to give you millions of dollars, and there's lots of oceanfront property here in Amarillo for sale real cheap. The Klan was born a racist organization, and will be a racist organization as long as it exists (which I hope is not much longer).

  3. Do you remember "I'm a curious yellow" a mildly erotic film from Scandinavia in the 60's . The theatre
in Houston was as I remember "liberated by fire". The fuckers that did it , they will never be OK.
