Donald Trump has once again denied global climate change. When a reporter asked him about the U.S. government report on the seriousness of global climate change (global warming), Trump replied "I don't believe it".
That puts him in opposition, once again, to the beliefs of the American public. The public believes there is a problems with global climate change (by a whopping 62 point margin), and that the problem is a very serious one. About 54% say it's a very serious problem, and another 17% say it is somewhat serious.
The good thing is that a majority (54%) believes there is still time to make the changes needed to avoid the worst of the problems that global climate will bring. The bad thing is that a majority (57%) doesn't believe in the government's ability to fight global climate change. And 54% say Congress will not act in the next few years.
That's just say (and somewhat terrifying) -- that most people understand we have a problem, and yet believe our government will do nothing about the problem,
