Support For Authoritarianism And Political Violence Growing
The charts above are from the Public Religion Research Institute survey -- done between August 25th and 30th of a nationwide sample of 2,525 adults, with a 2.19 point margin of error.
The design of this poll was clearly focused on arriving at a specific result, i.e. an implication that Americans are more ready to initiate violence in order to save the country. But while the numbers have risen (so it says), much of that acceptance of the need for "violence" is probably the resignation to fight back, rather than to initiate the conflict. And if asked, I bet the Democrats would be much more weighted toward readiness to fight back, than initiate it.
ANONYMOUS COMMENTS WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED. And neither will racist, homophobic, or misogynistic comments. I do not mind if you disagree, but make your case in a decent manner.
