Voting Is Heavy In Texas This Year
In the first 12 days of early voting in Texas, there have been 6,356,493 people voting in person and 837,089 mail-in ballots received. That means 7,193,582 voters have already cast their ballots. And there are 6 more days of early voting.
The 2016 election had the most people voting in the state. In that election, 8,969,226 voted in the presidential election. It looks like voting this year will easily eclipse that.

A New Presidential Poll Shows Texas Is Still In Play
The chart above is from the latest Dallas Morning News / University of Texas at Tyler Poll -- done between October 13th and 20th of a sample of 1,012 registered Texas voters, with a 3.08 point margin of error.
The poll has Biden leading by 2 points (46% to 44%), but with the margin of error the poll has Biden and Trump in a virtual tie. The most that can be said is the state is still in play, and the candidate that does the best job of getting out his voters will win.

Trump's Lying More Than Ever - Has Topped 25,000 Lies
In 2017, Trump’s first year as president, he averaged six claims a day. That jumped to 16 a day in 2018 and 22 in 2019. So far in 2020, the president has averaged 27 claims a day.
At his current pace, the president will surely exceed 25,000 claims before Election Day. In fact, he probably crossed that threshold this week.
As President Trump entered the final stretch of the election season, he began making more than 50 false or misleading claims a day.
