The German and Italian POWS were not tortured and were given rights under the Geneva Conventions. Those at Guantanamo were not given those rights and were tortured. Big difference.

BS. Thousands of German and Italian pow's were kept in this very area during and until the end of WW2.
ReplyDeleteI can just imagine a court like this ruling during that time that each must have a civilian trial to determine guilt.
This is a ridiculous ruling. Even with a majority conservative court, this gets passed.
It's designed only to funnel more taxpayer dollars and further enrich fellow lawyers.
Rights for terroist, no rights for the unborn.
Our legal system is in shambles and a joke. And it comes from both right and left. And, there again, is another reason we have no money for police.
