Congratulations Howard & Beth !

I want to congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stern on their recent wedding.

Howard Stern and his lovely girlfriend, Beth Ostrosky, were married in New York City on Friday night at the Le Cirque restaurant. They have been engaged since last Valentine's Day, when he gave her a 5.2 carat diamond ring (amazing that she can still lift her hand wearing a rock that big).

They were married by Mark Consuelos (Kelly Ripa's husband). Singer Billy Joel provided the music, and Chevy Chase toasted the bride and groom.

This may seem like a strange post for a political blog, but I have loved Howard's humor and humanity for many years. He has a wonderful knack for deflating self-important buffoons and self-righteous windbags.

I hope Howard and Beth have a long and happy marriage.
