Speaking of the people killed by Western powers, Gadahn said, "We express our condolences to the families of the Muslim men, women and children killed in these criminal acts and we ask Allah to have mercy on those killed and accept them as shohadaa (martyrs)."
He then went on, referring to victims of al-Queda and its allies, "We also express the same in regard to the unintended Muslim victims of the mujahedeen's operations against the crusaders and their allies and puppets, and to the countless faceless and nameless Muslim victims of the murderous crusade (in Afghanistan and Pakistan)."
But don't get carried away thinking al-Queda has suddenly changed its stripes. These condolences were directed only to the Muslims in Afghanistan and Pakistan. They're still thrilled to have killed the innocent victims in America and Europe, and have no intention of apologizing for that.
They are still the same murderous criminals that they always were, and hopefully they will be brought to justice sooner rather than later. In fact, that's why they issued the condolences to the Muslims of Afghanistan and Pakistan. They're cowards and they're afraid some of these victims' families might turn on them and sell them out to the Americans, Europeans or Pakistanis.
The mountainous region on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border is al-Queda's last safe hiding place. If the people living there turn on them, they are doomed. They know that -- hence the "condolences".
excuse my redneck..but fuckem
