Who Are The Most Valuable Cowboys ?

Another football season is upon us. The first game will be played tonight between the Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints -- a match-up of two very good teams and a pretty good way to start the season. The Dallas Cowboys will start their season on Sunday against the hated Washington Redskins in an away game. It would be nice to start the season with a win -- especially over the Skins.

While we're waiting for the first game, I guess it's time for some fun and fairly meaningless list of some sort. Fortunately, Todd Archer of the Dallas Morning News has composed just such a list for our enjoyment and edification. He has ranked the individual Cowboys according to their value to the team. On the whole, I think he's done a fairly good job of it.

I might slightly disagree with some of his rankings (like Doug Free being rated above Leonard Davis or Felix Jones -- he just has not proven his worth yet), but the list is pretty interesting and should provoke some good discussions among Cowboys fans.
