Another Failed Rapture - Or Was It ?

Well, Saturday came and went and there was no Rapture - or was there? Vorjack, who writes the excellent blog Unreasonable Faith, thinks maybe there was a Rapture and no one could meet the strict conditions for being a part of it. He bases this on the flow chart above from the blog Peas and Cougars, which purports to determine who would be raptured. It would be hard for anyone to meet those stringent conditions. How disappointing!

  1. I was looking in arhcive.org this weekend, trying to see what ol' Harold Camping was saying prior to The Big Event. What I discovered is that he not only predicted the rapture on 05/21/2011, he also predicted the end of the world just five months later on 10/21/2011. Mark your calendars (yet again!).

Not to get too "Inside Baseball," but there are a lot of theories about when the rapture will take place. There are pre-milennialists (the rapture will occur before the milennium), the post-millennialists (after the millennium) and the amillennialists (the millennium will be symbolic or non-temporal).

I'm personally a "pan"millennialist; I believe it will all pan out in the end. ;)
