And They Need More ?

In the last 50 years the federal tax rate for a median American family has climbed from 7.4% to 13.6%. But the effective tax rate for the 400 richest Americans has fallen from 51.2% to only 16.6%. And the Republicans want to slash taxes for the rich even more. This simply makes no sense, especially with the deficit and national debt being so high. Chart is from Think Progress.

    This should be required reading for every student in the entire country, from third grade through graduate school, ESPECIALLY in economics and business courses at the college level! The Republicans are not only insane; they are dead wrong, too!
