The Republicans would like Americans to think the U.S. has the highest taxes in the developed world, especially the poor corporations. This chart from Think Progress shows just how big a lie that really is.
1) How does measuring corporate taxes as a percentage of GDP (as opposed to an absolute percentage of each corporation's profits) better measure how much corporations pay in taxes?
2) Do the other 24 countries have as convoluted a tax system as the US (e.g. tax breaks for some industries, but not for others)?
