Republicans Have No Respect For Teachers

As this chart shows, American teachers already work more hours and receive less pay than their counterparts in most of the industrialized world. And in every state where Republicans are in power they are now in the process of further cutting education funds. The fact is that Republicans have no respect for teachers or for public education.

    keep the people ignorant
    they are easier to control

    keep them fearful and distrusting
    so they will not come together against the rich and powerful

    teach them religion
    so all their suffering here
    will be rewarded in the next place

    worked in the bible
    still works today
