Richest People In Congress

If you've ever wondered why the rich just keep getting richer and the rest of America can't seem to catch a break, this might help to answer that question. The good folks at Roll Call have listed the 50 richest people in Congress for us. And remember, these are very conservative figures. If an asset could have a range of values, they have used the lowest value -- which means these people are probably even richer than shown. And these fifty aren't the only rich members of Congress. Most other members are also millionaires. Here are the top fifty, listed by party:
