Far too often the right-wing fundamentalists in the Bible Belt resort to altering facts or just plain making facts up to support their own particular brand of christianity(such as "Jesus supported capitalism" or "America was created as a christian theocracy" or "the Earth is only 10,000 years old", etc.). So it's kind of refreshing to see a church that's honest about not caring about real facts -- frightening, but refreshing in its honesty. Might as well say, "So that monkey that flew out of my ass this morning is absolutely REAL, whether or not anyone else can see it!!"
