Public Wants Withdrawal From Afghanistan - And They Want It Now

Yesterday I posted again about why we should immediately withdraw all American forces from Afghanistan. Now a new poll has been released that shows the American people want an immediate withdrawal also. Several polls have shown that a majority of Americans wanted a withdrawal in a short period of time, but this ABC News/Washington Post Poll shows for the first time a majority of the public wants an immediate withdrawal -- whether we have "accomplished our goals" or not. Here are the numbers:

And this poll was taken before an American soldier went off the deep end and killed 16 innocent Afghan civilians. I imagine that will not only make the Afghans want us out quicker, but will probably make more Americans want the same thing.

It's time to end this war immediately and bring all of our troops home. It is not worth a single additional American (or Afghan civilian) life to prop up the misogynistic and extremely corrupt government we have installed in that country.
