This chart shows the representation that women have in the current Congress (16.6% in the House and 15.0% in the Senate). Is this acceptable to you? It shouldn't be.
While I disagreed with the senator on many issues, she was one of the very few Republicans that I respected. I'd love to see Maine replace her with a female progressive.

To think Olympia is leaving her seat, we do have fond feelings for the moderate GOP.. we need to get more ladies in these seats.
