Tour Standings (On The Last Rest Day)

The Tour de France took its last rest day on Tuesday, so the standings remain the same. The picture above is of Bradley Wiggins, the current race leader. 1. An excellent chap, that Williams! I liked the way he slowed the pack down to give his rival a chance to catch up after that sabotage incident when tacks were scattered on the road causing multiple punctures. Also, today I heard him on the radio saying (and I paraphrase from memory): 'What's to fear? It's just a bike race. You just get out there and do the best you can.'

I nearly crashed my car in surprise at such commonsense from a sportsman. Mind you - pity about those dreadful sideburns - my dear, simply too, too, 1980s!
