Congratulations NASA !

Once again, the scientists at NASA have managed to pull off an incredible feat. This time they landed an SUV-sized "rover" on Mars (much larger than the two previous rovers). The mission this time is to search for evidence that life could exist, or could have once existed on the red planet. The picture above is one of the first pictures sent back to us from the new mars vehicle. Congratulations NASA -- both on a job well-done to land this much larger vehicle, and on the new journey they are now taking us on. This is exciting stuff!

  1. Remember the movie "Short Circuit" (1986)? Was #5 a prototype of the current Mars Rover "Curiosity"? A few years back I added my name to a microchip (sponsored by NASA) that was installed somewhere on that rover. I have been following the progress of this mission ever since. I need a manicure after biting my nails during the landing. So glad "Curiosity" is safe and working. Whewwwwww. Hope I live long enough to hear what it finds.
