Contagion

(This bit of humor was found on the blog of Yellowdog Granny. You can click on the picture to get a bigger version that's easier to read.) Sometimes I think this is true. Instead of fulfilling our role as the inheritors of this planet, we seem bound and determined to be its destroyers. The only real question is whether we destroy it (and ourselves) before we get to other worlds, and begin their destruction also. The really sad part is that man possesses the intelligence and ability to save our planet (and ourselves). We just refuse to do so.
