Wow, and Carlin died in 2008. How prophetic! The problem with comedians is that they are funny. No one takes what they say seriously. George Carlin's whole career was like that. He made me think and that is why I'm not a Republican.
Carlin was spot on - he was truly funny, but he also had a message & told it like it was. He wasn't as much a prophet as just someone who's eyes were open to the truth. Things have been tipping against the average wage-earner in America for a very long time, but it seems that we're now turning a very dangerous corner. Thinkers like Chris Hedges & Noam Chomsky have a lot to say about this, I suggest to anyone interested in the truth to look them up.
