This is Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin as they attend the freshman orientation for newly-elected officials in Washington. Both ran tough progressive campaigns and snatched seats away from the Republicans -- seats the Republicans had counted on winning to seize control of the Senate. Both are smart, tough, and won't be scared off by the right-wing or bought off by Wall Street. America owes a debt of gratitude to the voters of Massachusetts and Wisconsin for putting these women in the United States Senate.
The only part of that that bothers me is the "freshman orientation" part. These two women being "indoctrinated" into the corruption and disgusting ways in which the Senate operates is somehow seriously depressing.
