The first votes have been cast and counted in the 2012 election for president. As usual, they come from the tiny New Hampshire locations of Dixville Notch (in northernmost Coos County) and Hart's Location (in neighboring Carroll County). Dixville Notch was first, completing their voting only 43 seconds after midnight. Hart's Location had cast their votes by 5 minutes and 42 seconds after midnight. Here are the results from both:
Dixville Notch
Obama..........5 votes
Romney..........5 votes
Hart's Location
Obama..........23 votes
Romney..........9 votes
Johnson..........1 vote
Give me some Hart!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope they set a pattern for that state, and the nation.
