Palin's Political Career Is Officially Dead

(This image of Sarah Palin was found at the website Efficient Awesomeness.)

I studied her and thoroughly examined her
And she’s not only merely dead
She’s really most sincerely dead.

Those are the words used to describe the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz. But after seeing the latest Alaskan poll done by Public Policy Polling, I think the same could be said of the political career of half-term governor Sarah Palin. That survey shows that the people of Alaska have a very low opinion of Palin.

You can start with the fact that while Hillary Clinton polled very close to Chris Christie and Marco Rubio in the Republican state (one point behind Christie and one point ahead of Rubio), she would easily beat Palin in her home state (53% to 37%). But it gets much worse than that. Consider these numbers:

SHOULD SARAH PALIN RUN FOR PRESIDENT IN 2016?
yes...............16%
no...............78%
unsure...............6%

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORABLE OR UNFAVORABLE OPINION OF CONGRESS?
favorable...............8%
unfavorable...............82%
unsure...............10%

DO YOU HAVE A HIGHER OPINION OF CONGRESS OR SARAH PALIN?
Congress...............50%
Sarah Palin...............34%
unsure...............16%

I don't know if numbers could get much worse than that, and those are Palin's home state numbers (with Republicans outnumbering Democrats in the poll). Obviously, the people of Alaska are done with her and ready to put the final nail in the coffin of her "most sincerely dead" political career. I've been saying for a while now that Palin's 15 minutes of fame are over. This poll verifies that.

The Public Policy Polling survey was done on February 4th and 5th of 1,129 Alaska voters (and has a margin of error of 2.9 points).

I think the "unsures" are classic "low information voters."

Regarding Palin's political death, I can't help but think that she would simply fade into the sunset were it not for those in the mainstream media who insist on digging up the body with made up stories like this one.

The MSM loves to hate Palin so much they can't even tell the difference between parody and real news.
