Thousands of people all over the developing world are dying to fatten the obscene profits of the giant corporations. Many of these deaths could be prevented. The corporations were asked to set up an independent organization to inspect the plants making products to import back into this country -- but they rejected that, whining that they just couldn't afford it (in spite of the fact that they pay these foreign workers abusively low-wages). The fact is that corporations do not care about human lives -- only the bottom line on their profit sheets.
