I'm getting a little sick of those on the right claiming that people hate us because of our freedoms. That's utterly ridiculous. It's far more likely that they hate us because we think we're better than they are -- that they are just pawns, easily sacrificed to get a few more dollars of profit for our giant corporations. I'll bet if we actually lived up to the ideals that we claim to believe in, everyone would want to be our friend. But you can't win friends by lying to them, threatening them, and stealing from them.
Where is the Obama I voted for in 2008? He continued the war in Afghanistan, ok sorta kinda got us out of Iraq, but bombed Libya, and now is talking about Syria. They hate us because we do that stuff and win a Peace Prize. And what you said too.
