There is a lot of truth in this image from the excellent website Upworthy. Too many of our politicians (mostly Republicans, but some Democrats too) sold out for campaign funds and a better chance of re-election -- instead of doing the people's work as they were elected to do. They voted against closing the loopholes in our background check laws (for gun purchasers), which about 90% of the public wanted done. They voted against saving lives. And most of them were paid well to do that.
