While the Republicans have gerrymandered the House districts, allowing them to keep most of them, they still trail both the president and the Democrats in public approval. Bloomberg News Poll (done between September 20th and 23rd of 1,000 adults nationwide, with a 3.1 point margin of error). It shows the Republican Party trails the Democratic Party by 10 points nationwide, and they trail the president by 13 points.
