Debating The Wrong Issues
Mr Reich is absolutely right. The Republicans have been able to shift the debate in this country from the most important economic matters (vast wealth and income gap, unemployment, job outsourcing, poverty, and an inadequate minimum wage). They have people worrying about the budget deficit -- a problem that can be easily solved by solving the problems above, and/or raising taxes slightly on the richest Americans.
