I don't see anything above that refers to gun control. You are either off-topic, or you would like your own country to be flooded with guns like the U.S. -- which is it?
My country is already flooded with guns but only the baddies have them which leaves us helpless.
And your 'agit-prop' writer is obviously not a great strategic, or even tactical, thinker. If he hates and fears the Republican party so much, and if they are likely sooner or later to form a government I would have thought it sensible to keep the civil population armed!
Saying your country is already flooded with guns is a gross exaggeration -- and you know it. And because it is not, your country has far fewer deaths from guns, both in raw numbers and in percentage.
And one doesn't have to be a big thinker to know that the small arms we are talking about would be useless against the military power of the United States government.
