Minimum Wage

  1. Other business costs are often much greater than labor costs. McDonalds is a case in point. 56 cents more for a burger supports a wage about 3 times higher than here. Also note, a worker earning $21/hr would not need or qualify for public assistance.

    Business should pay the full cost of labor. The taxpayer should not be giving public assistance to businesses.
