As far as women's and civil rights are concerned, I can hope they only want to return as far back as the 1950s, and not the 1850s. At least if it’s the 1950s, both women and blacks would still be enfranchised. (Although I'm sure that the idea of disenfranchising both groups as well as others has already been batted around by our “illustrious” reactionary republicans.)
