Memorial Day - A Time To Remember

I worry, more than ever, that it will simply become a ritual notation of "other people's sons dying" as the percentage of Americans in the US military becomes ever more tiny, and ever more from a core of "military tradition" at least partially based on economic hardship in five or six mostly impoverished states.
