I have been reading the blogs of several people who have "de-converted" from their Christian religious beliefs, and it appears to me that they have the same emotional struggles as those who have been through "cult deprogramming". Just because Christianity and other mainstream religions are culturally and socially accepted, does not mean that they are not cults. When these "faiths" take over every aspect of your life (including activities in your bedroom) and they influence even your choices of food, politics, friends, etc., they deserve the cult label.
ANONYMOUS COMMENTS WILL NOT BE PUBLISHED. And neither will racist, homophobic, or misogynistic comments. I do not mind if you disagree, but make your case in a decent manner.
