Will This Country Be Better Off Or Worse Off In 4 Years ?
This chart was made from information in a recent Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between November 12th and 15th of a random national sample of 1,659 adults, with a margin of error of 2.8 points.
They asked the poll's respondents if the United States will be better off or worse off after four years of a Trump presidency. About 32% said the country would be better off and 38% said it would be worse off.
Males (+2), ages 45-64 (+5), age over 65 (+22), and Whites (+13) thought the country would be better off. But females (-7), ages 18-29 (-22), ages 30-44 (-13), Blacks (-43), Hispanics (-23), and other races (-23) thought the country would be worse off.
I'm going to have to disagree with my fellow boomers. I think the country will be much worse off four years from now.
