Religion And Education Around The World

I found this study from the Pew Research Center interesting, and thought you might also. It is about the different major religions, and education among their members worldwide. It's a lengthy report, but well worth reading.

One thing I thought was especially interesting, but not surprising, is the bottom chart. It shows the percentage of those in each religion with a college degree in the United States. It looks like the anti-education and anti-science views of the christian fundamentalists are having an effect on American higher education. Christians actually finish dead last in adherents with a college degree. Only 36% have a college degree -- three points lower than the national average of 39%.
