The Public Doesn't Like Trump's Proposed Budget

Donald Trump has sent a budget proposal to Congress for the 2018 budget. It would cut nearly all domestic programs (many of them severely) while giving more money to the corporations in the military-industrial complex. It's a budget that throws the American people under the bus so new tax cuts can later be given to the rich and the corporations.

But most people don't like Trump's proposed budget. Only 27% say they support the Trump budget, while 44% say they oppose it. And that goes for both genders, all age groups, and all races/ethnicities. They all have more opposition than support for the budget.

Chart was made using information in a recent Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between May 27th and 30th of a random national sample of 1,500 adults (including 1,269 registered voters), with a margin of error of 3.1 points.
