The charts above are from the new Quinnipiac University Poll -- done between August 17th and 22nd of a random national sample of 1,514 voters, with a 3.1 point margin of error.
Those are terrible numbers. Only 35% approve of the job Donald Trump is doing, only 36% believe he is honest and trustworthy, and only 34% believe he shares their values. The only way those numbers could get worse is if irrefutable proof of corruption or collusion is found, or is the nation suffers another devastating recession -- and sadly, both of those are distinct possibilities.
