This chart shows the results of a new NBC News / Wall Street Journal Poll -- done between December 13th and 15th of a random national sample of 900 adults, with a margin of error of 3.3 points.
If the 2020 presidential election was held now, only 18% say they would definitely vote for Trump and another 18% say they would probably do so -- for a total of 36%. But 14% say they would probably vote for the Democrat running against him and 38% say they would definitely vote for the Democrat -- for a total of 52%. In other words, Trump would lose big.
