Donald Trump has told the media that he is the least racist person they know. That's no surprise. Most racists will deny their racism (even though their words and actions affirm it). But the American people (at least a huge chunk of them) know the truth.
About 50% of the population says Trump is a racist, and another 7% aren't sure. And this is from a poll normally very kind to Republicans.
These numbers are from a recent Rasmussen Poll -- done on January 16th and 17th of a random national sample of 1,000 likely voters, with a margin of error of 3 points.
