Trump Is On Track To Tell 10,000 Lies In A 4-Year Term

(Cartoon image is by Bill Day at cagle.com.)

We have never had a president as dishonest as Donald Trump. He lies all the time, even about things that are easily shown to be lies. The Washington Post has been keeping track of the lies Trump has told since being sworn in.

How many lies has he told so far? As of last Friday morning, the total number of lies stood at 3,251 -- an average of 6.5 lies every day, or 200 each month. That puts him on track to have told about 10,000 lies by January 20, 2021.

That doesn't matter to his hardcore supporters. They have shown they will believe anything he says -- not matter how outrageously untrue it is. It is up to the rest of us to do something about Trump. We must elect a Democratic Congress this November, and if he is not impeached before then, vote him out of office in November of 2020.
