The chart above is from the Gallup Poll. It shows that in the last nine years, the percentage of Americans who attend church weekly has dropped from 42% to 38%. Meanwhile, the percentage who seldom/never attend church has climbed from 45% to 48% (nearly half of all Americans). Those who attend about once a month has remained steady at 12%.
