It Looks Like Cuomo Will Win Big In NY Democratic Primary
The Democratic primary is just a couple of days away in New York (Sept. 13th). Some Sanders progressives thought they had a chance to unseat Governor Cuomo when celebrity Cynthia Nixon jumped into the race. That's not going to happen. Instead of chipping away at Cuomo's lead, Nixon seems to be losing ground. At the end of July, Cuomo had a 31 point lead. That has now grown to 41 points -- and he leads big in all areas of the state and among all demographic groups.
The chart above is from the new Siena College Poll -- done between September 4th and 7th of a sample of 509 likely New York Democratic voters, with a margin of error of 4.3 points.
