The chart above is from fivethirtyeight.com. It shows the average job approval of each president since World War II. Trump approval is only 41.9%. That is lower than every president but one after 705 days in office -- Ronald Reagan. Reagan was able to improve his approval. Can Trump do the same. I doubt it. He has been upside-down since taking office, and every action he takes is to please his base -- not the majority of Americans.
