Two-Thirds Of Americans Support Marijuana Legalization

The charts above reflect the results of a new Gallup Poll -- done between October 1st and 13th of a national sample of 1,526 adults, with a 3 point margin of error.

It shows that the American public are no longer believing the lies about marijuana. Currently, about two-thirds (66%) of the population say marijuana should be legal. And that includes about half of some groups traditionally opposed to legalization -- Republicans (51%), over age 65 (49%), and conservatives (48%).

How much longer will our elected representatives continue to cater to a tiny minority and refuse to legalize marijuana?
