The chart above is from the ABC News / Washington Post Poll -- done between October 6th and 9th of a national sample of 879 registered voters, with a 3.5 point margin of error.
It shows that a majority of Americans (52%) think the next president should be the one to pick the Supreme Court justice to replace Justice Ginsburg. That's because over 6 in 10 voters (62%) want Roe vs. Wade to remain the law of the land. Only a tiny 24% want the decision overturned.
