The charts above reflect the results of the newest Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between March 13th and 17th of a national sample of 1,218 registered voters, with a 2.9 point margin of error.
It shows that the Democratic Party is more popular with voters than the Republican Party. The Democratic Party has a negative 1 favorability rating (48% favorable to 49% unfavorable). The Republican Party has a negative 25 point favorability rating (36% favorable to 61% unfavorable). That a huge 24 point difference between the two parties.
The Democrats are 12 points more favorable than the Republicans. The Republicans are 12 points more unfavorable than the Democrats. And the Republicans are not winning any voters over with their opposition to bills the public likes.
