The chart above reflects the results of the new Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between July 10th and 13th of a national sample of 1,500 adults (including 1,292 registered voters). The margin of error for both adults and registered voters is 3 points.
It shows that an overwhelming majority of Americans support President Biden's decision to withdraw all troops from Afghanistan.
The chart below, from the same survey, shows that a plurality of Americans also think it was a mistake to send troops to fight in Afghanistan.
Nobody expected the war to last 20 years with no resolution.
