The chart above is from the Gun Violence Archive.
It shows that through July of this year there have been 25,918 gun deaths and 400 mass shootings in the United States.
Last year, records were set at 43,570 gun deaths and 611 mass shootings. With five months to go in this year, it looks like the U.S. is on pace to break both of those records.
And Congress continues to DO NOTHING!
