Republicans Who Have Heard Of Ivermectin Say It's Effective

 

The charts above are from the Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between August 28th and 31st of a national sample of 1,500 adults, with a 3.0 point margin of error.

It shows that the Republicans who have heard of the animal dewormer Ivermectin think it is an effective treatment for COVID-19, inspire of warnings of its danger and ineffectiveness from medical officials. They prefer the lies of their leaders over the knowledge of medical professionals.

In that same poll, respondents were asked about the safety of the vaccines available. Pfizer and Moderna were equal in the opinion of the public (see the chart below).
