The chart above is from the recent Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between October 3rd and 5th of a national sample of 1,500 adults, with a 3.1 point margin of error.
It shows that half of all American adults know someone who has had an abortion (or has gotten one themselves).
And the chart below, from the same poll, shows that Americans still support legal abortion -- either always or with some restrictions.
